POONCH, Mar 9: The dead body of youth was found hanging with a rope in his room at his residence at village Dara Dullian in Poonch district late last evening.
The deceased has been identified as Mehfooz Ahmed ( 23), son of Mohd Akbar. The family had been living on rent in the Poonch city for the past some time. The deceased had gone to his parental house in village. The neighbours found his body hanging and informed family at Poonch. They also called police and narrated the matter.
The police examined the spot and then shifted the body to District Hospital Poonch for post mortem. From where the body was later handed over to the family. Police has registered a case and started investigating. It was working on different theories.
