UDHAMPUR, Apr 19: The dead body of a youth was found hanging from a tree near his sister’s house at village Pangara in Udhampur district today.
Official sources said that body of Ardesh Kumar (22), son of Subhash Chander, a resident of Dubi Gali in Panchari, was found hanging from a tree about 100 mts away from his sister’s house at village Pangara in Udhampur under mysterious circumstances.
Local people saw the body hanging and informed police at Udhampur. The police party led by SHO Raghubir Singh, rushed to the spot and shifted it to District hospital for postmortem.
The family members said that he had gone to his sister’s house for a function.
Udhampur Police launched inquest proceedings into the case.
