RAJOURI, Oct 26: Mystery shrouds the death of a youth whose body was recovered from bushes near Dak Bungalow in Nowshera town this afternoon.
Some people noticed the body lying in the bushes on the road side and informed other people of the locality at around 2.15 pm today. Many people gathered there. Later they informed local police. The police party reached there and examined the spot.
The police shifted the body to Nowshera hospital and kept in the mortuary for identification. The deceased was later identified as Sikander Khan (30), son of Hassan Ali, resident of Ward No.1 Nowshera town. The police said that no external injury was visible on the body. A case was registered in this connection and the inquest proceedings launched.
The police said that as per family sources Sikander went missing yesterday. The relatives were looking for him but he could not be traced. They alleged that possibility of his murder can not be ruled out. The police investigating team was working on all the angles. Postmortem of the body will be conducted tomorrow.
