UDHAMPUR, July 3: The dead body of a young man was found lying under mysterious circumstances in a `Bawli’ in Ramnagar area of district Udhampur on Monday.
Official sources said that dead body of 32-year-old, Raj Kumar, son of Shanker Dass, resident of Barmeen, was found lying in a step well (Bawli) under mysterious circumstances at village Dhar Gaddian in Tehsil Ramnagar today.
The police after receiving information immediately rushed to the spot and took the body in its custody. The dead body of the deceased was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem and police after completion of all the legal formalities, handed over the body to the family members.
Ramnagar police registered a case under 174 CrPC and started investigation.
