REASI, Feb 11: A deputation of local youths today met MLA Advocate Ajay Nanda and highlighted various issues.
The deputation raised issues relating to power, education, tourism, Shiv Khori Shrine Board, unemployment etc. The deputation demanded proper representation of locals in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and reservation for locals in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University either in terms of education or employment.
The deputation appealed the MLA to bring Reasi in the tourism map, which will help business to grow and also generate employment.
MLA gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured them of full help after formation of the Government. MLA also assured that that he will take up these issues with the concerned authorities for redressal.
The deputation included Sorab Mengi, Nipun Anand, Surinder Sharma, Ankush Nargotra, Karan Dev, Surinder Suri, Dheeraj Gupta, Vikrant, Sunil Bali and others.
