LUCKNOW, Jan 31:
In an innovative initiative before the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit (GIS) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has constituted a 48-member team and educationists to acquaint the youth with the employment-oriented schemes and policies of the Government.
The team, which includes 12 retired IAS, 6 IPS and Indian Forest Service officers each and 24 educationists, will interact communicate with the youth in different universities and colleges, answer their queries related to employment, as well as make them aware of the utility of the GIS for the them between February 3 to February 5.
The CM on Tuesday interacted with the members of the special team of retired officers and senior educationists in a special programme organised at his official residence.
During the meeting, Yogi said, “Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, in the last five and a half to six years, UP has presented its new identity in front of the country and the world. People’s perception towards the state has changed. All of you have been witnesses to this big change and have been co-travelers.”
He said that UP is a state of immense possibilities and for the overall development of the country and the state we must realise these possibilities. “All of you have long experience in public life and have held important positions. Your cooperation is solicited so that our youths benefit from your experiences,” he said.
The CM said, “When we took over the responsibility of the state in the year 2017, its economy was in a poor state. We studied all aspects and then worked in mission mode to bring about policy reforms and simplify the system. Efforts were made to improve the law and order situation and the very next year when we organised the Investors Summit, we received investment proposals worth Rs 4.68 lakh crore. After this, through three ground breaking ceremonies, we have implemented proposals worth about Rs 4 lakh crore.” (PTI)
