YRF to hold grand premiere of ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ as per Yash Chopra’s wish

NEW DELHI, Oct 27:
Yashraj Films will hold a grand premiere for the late Yash Chopra’s last directorial venture ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, as per the wish of the veteran filmmaker, who died of Dengue on October 21.
“In accordance with Yash Chopra’s wishes, his wife Pam Chopra has decided that a grand film premiere be held to celebrate the release of Yashji’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ this Diwali,”a spokesperson of Yashraj films said today.
In a statement, Pam Chopra said,”I want to give my husband an unforgettable farewell. Accordingly, we have decided to have a grand premiere for his ultimate film, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, exactly the way he wanted it.
This is a fitting tribute to a man who would have had it no other way. I have asked my sons Aditya and Uday to go ahead with all the preparations. This premiere is our way of celebrating his illustrious life, rather than mourning it.”
Consequently, a premiere for the Shahrukh Khan-Katrina Kaif-Anushka Sharma starrer is being planned by YRF on November 12, details of which are being worked out.
‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ hit cinema screens across India on November 13 on the occasion of Diwali festival.
