JAMMU, Dec 20: A delegation of Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) under the presidentship of Vikram Singh Vicky (president YRS) today met Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar in his office chamber and discussed various issues of Jammu.
During the meeting, the delegation submitted a memorandum regarding the issues faces by the people of Jammu Province, to the Divisional Commissioner. Speaking on the occasion, Vicky expressed serious concern over the pathetic condition of National Highway, right from Satwari to Lakhanpur. He said reminded the Divisional Commissioner of “No Road, No Toll Agitation” of YRS and said that the administration failed to resolve the issue of Sarore Toll Plaza as was promised.
“Presently NH is in such a bad condition that every other day accidents and casualties happen on this road but the administration is not taking any step regarding this and now, NHAI is going to install new Toll Plaza on Akhnoor Road”, he added.
Former YRS president Rajan Singh Happy also discussed about the crime situation in Jammu while founder member Rajinder Singh discussed about the temples of J&K and appealed the Divisional Commissioner to close wine shops and meat shops on holy days in Jammu being the City of Temples.
The delegation comprising Prem Singh, Mukesh Singh, Mandeep Singh, Vishal Singh, Sumit Singh, Avtar Singh, Sanjay Singh, Raghu Singh, Pardeep Singh, Daljit Singh, Munish Singh appealed the Divisional Commissioner to solve all these issues as soon as possible and give relief to people of Jammu.
