Jammu, Nov 18: A meeting of JK Youth Sharnarthi Action Committee leader RC Sharma has strongly criticized the Modi government, who has returned the package of PoK refugee with a rider which demands the rehabilitation package of West Pakistani.
While addressing the meeting, Mr Sharma said that after a long time the State Government had done a job after a struggle pushed by the PoK refugees but Union Government led by Narendra Modi is unable to justify the reasons for rejecting the package. He said that comparing the problems of PoK refugees with West Pakistani refugees is totally immoral and unjustified on the part of Union Government.
Expressing his wonder over the wisdom of Union Government, he said that PoK refugees are well citizens of the State whereas; the West Pakistani refuges are non-citizens of State. Questioning the intention of the BJP Government, he said, “Why Union Government has not compared while approving the package of valley migrant, who are as good citizens as PoK refugees and why it compared with West Pakistani refugees.”
He said PoK refugees voted for both the candidates of BJP in parliamentary election while BJP failed to win a single seat from Valley migrants but the party has duped the PoK refugees and approved the package of Valley migrants.
Sending a stern warning to the BJP, he said that within a period of seven days if Modi led Government failed to approve it, than refugees will boycott BJP and launch agitation.
