JAMMU, Aug 30: In a significant stride towards community development, Jammu and Kashmir BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi and councillor, Dr. Akshay Sharma commenced multiple development works worth Rs 45 lakhs adjoining Exchange Road, Ward No 8 in Jammu.
On the occasion, Raman Sharma, president BJP Amphalla Mandal, Suresh Salgotra, Sharda Devi, Swati Bakshi, Rohit Gupta, Ashok Salgotra, Prithvi Duggal, Puneet Chawla and Vipan Verma, party workers and prominent people of the area were present.
Addressing the gathering, Yudhvir Sethi emphasized that the initiation of development endeavors underlines the BJP’s steadfast dedication in addressing the concerns of people. He highlighted the transformative strides witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir since the advent of the Modi Government in 2014.
Sethi noted that prior to this, development funds designated for the Jammu region were often diverted to Kashmir, giving step motherly treatment to Jammu people. However, under the Modi regime, Jammu region has experienced a more balanced and equitable development trajectory.
Yudhvir Sethi appealed to the public to rally behind and bolster the efforts of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in the upcoming elections, with the goal of ensuring equitable development for all. He commended Dr. Akshay Sharma for his earnest commitment to addressing the needs of the people and acknowledged his role in community upliftment.
Dr. Akshay Sharma, speaking at the event, reaffirmed the commitment to fostering development in his Ward. He outlined the comprehensive pipeline of development projects that will be undertaken in a phased manner, promising significant progress in the near future.
The councillor said that he is available 24×7 to actively engage with and respond to the concerns of the public, thereby ensuring a continuous channel for communication and progress.
