JAMMU, Oct 24: Yudhvir Sethi, MLA East constituency and senior BJP leader conducted a Janata Darbar at Pt. Prem Nath Bhawan, Kacchi Chawni, Jammu, here today.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 600 people from across Jammu city visiting the party office to voice their concerns and discuss issues directly with the senior BJP leader. Several deputations, along with individuals, attended the camp to present their grievances on a range of issues including ration, education, pensions, PHE, PDD, revenue, power, water scarcity, road infrastructure, and other development-related matters, as well as personal concerns.
Yudhvir Sethi attentively listened to the deputations and assured them of prompt action, pledging to take up their issues with the relevant authorities. During the Darbar, he also distributed pension cards to the beneficiaries, further demonstrating the party’s commitment to welfare.
Sethi reiterated that the BJP remains steadfast in addressing the day-to-day challenges faced by the public, especially in Jammu City. He emphasized that the party is making dedicated efforts to bridge the gap between the administration and the people.
“Our goal is to support our party’s field functionaries and ensure that public issues are addressed efficiently,” he said, adding that these interactions are not merely symbolic but are intended to bring about meaningful change. He assured the gathering that BJP is fully committed to resolving public grievances and working towards their well-being.
Meanwhile, Yudhvir Sethi also paid tribute to Pt. Prem Nath Dogra on his birth anniversary. He participated in a hawan at Dogra Chowk, honouring the legacy of the revered leader and remembering his contributions to society.
Sethi urged party workers to follow the principles and values that Pt. Prem Nath stood for, emphasizing the need for dedication, integrity and selfless service to the people. He remarked that true tribute to such leaders lies in continuing their mission of public welfare and working tirelessly for the betterment of society.
