JAMMU, Nov 14: J&K BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi asserted that the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre is committed to all round development of Jammu and Kashmir and no fragment of the Union Territory will remain untouched as far as progress and growth are concerned.
While starting blacktopping of roads in Jammu city in Ward No 10 here today, the senior BJP leader said that momentum of the developmental works shall be boosted with the active participation of elected councilors. He said every councilor has to play a vital role for the development of their respective wards.
Sethi appreciated the efforts of corporator Ward No 10, Anil Masoom for taking interest in addressing issues of general public. He said that the blacktopping of roads in Ward 10 was also carried-out with the personal efforts of Anil Masoom. He hoped that the corporator of the area will continue the spree of development for the welfare of common masses.
Yudhvir Sethi said road connectivity is hall mark of development in any part of the world and forms an inseparable part of the Prime Minister’s agenda of overall development across the nation. He has promised to make this constituency a model one and providing basic amenities to the public is the step towards the achievement of the Model Constituency. He said that the BJP Government at the Centre is fully committed to provide the basic amenities to the people and therefore power and water supply being among the basic amenities will definitely receive focused attention and the position shall be improved in the coming days.
Earlier, Yudhvir Sethi along with corporator Anil Masoom started blacktopping of Parade to Raj Tilak Road, Purani Mandi, Old Hospital, City Chowk Road and Chowk Chabutra to Moti Bazaar, Sabzi Mandi road in presence of party workers and prominent people of the area.
Corporator Anil Masoom, said BJP believes in the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. He appealed to the people of the area to strengthen the hands of BJP and wipe out such persons who only focus on vote bank politics.
Among those who were present include Mandal president, Parveen Kerni, Vipan Sharma, Sudhir Anand, Sandeep Dogra, Parul Mehra, Nipun Malhotra, Sukhvir Kohli, Sanjeev Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Sanjeev Singh Jamwal, Sahil Mehra and Rajan Magotra.
