JAMMU, May 16: Vice-president Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yudhvir Sethi today visited Bajalta to take stock of problems and issues faced by the people of the area besides involving the party workers and activists in an interactive session to assess their ground performance and guide them for future strategy.
He was accompanied by Ajay Sharma (BJP Mandal president Nagrota), district vice president Naryan, Shakti Kendra Parmukh Rampal, block executive member Sunny Sharma and Yuva Morcha leaders Ricky and Amit.
The people in large numbers along with the party workers met Yudhvir Sethi and highlighted their problems and woes on various counts. The senior BJP leader gave a patient hearing to the people and after listening to their problems very keenly, he assured to get their issues resolved at the earliest by taking up the same with the authorities concerned.
Later during an interaction with the party workers and activists, they detailed Yudhvir Sethi about their working at the grassroot level besides conveying to him the difficulties faced by them on ground. Yudhvir stressed upon the party workers to work relentlessly on ground especially in view of the upcoming elections making people aware about the welfare schemes launched by the Modi Government like Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana.
Yudhvir asserted that people of J&K can today clearly witness the paradigm shift in the scenario across this Union Territory in terms of development and progress in each and every sector, which was never ever before seen prior to Article 370 abrogation. He directed the party activists and workers to gear up for the upcoming Assembly elections and highlight the achievements of Modi Government at the grass root level.
