‘Yuva Akrosh Yatra’ taken out in Ramban

RAMBAN, Oct 17: ‘Yuva Akrosh Yatra’  launched by Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) against the anti-youth and anti- worker policies of PDP-BJP Government reached at Ramban today.
A large number of Youth  Congress activists and people in general joined the “ Yuva Akrosh Yatra” at Ramban town demanding scraping of the new recruitment policy 2015 and a special employment package for the State.
In  Batote,  the Yatra received a rousing reception from the youth of the town led by Rashid Malik  vice president LYC, where hundreds of youth joined the yatra and drove towards Ramban. Vikar Rasool,   MLA Banihal and Arun Singh Raju DCC president Ramban received the Yatra at Ramban town and marched with a large number of youth of the town, protesting against the anti- youth policies of the Government.  Mr Rasool also addressed the gathering at Ramban town.
Dr Uma Shanker Pandey,  National secretary IYC, Pranav Shagotra,  PYC president; Satish Sharma, Paramjit Singh general Secretaries; Vinay Sharma president LYC led the rally from Udhampur to Ramban. These leaders addressed the gatherings at Patnitop, Batote and Ramban.
Chetan Wanchoo spokesperson, Rashid Malik vice president LYC, Pankaj Sharma, Alyas Wani, Ashwani Sharma  LYC general secretaries, Sadakat Hussain, Syed Dar, Ayub AYC presidents organized the Yatra.
Thousands of youth  have participated in the Yatra so far and it remained a great success in  Kathua, Samba, Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi and Udhampur.  In Ramban town also, Akrosh rally witnessed huge gathering.
Dr Pandey, warned the Government of an aggressive fight if the system is not ready to listen to the woes of the youth of the State. He said that in spite of conducting a large scale signature campaign in 87 Assembly Constituencies and submitting the same to the 22 DDCs  in which thousands of students and youth urged the BJP-PDP Government to scrap the new recruitment policy, the Government remained unmoved.  The PYC has been forced to launch massive campaign.
PYC president,  Mr Shagotra exhorted upon the youth of the State to stand up and get united against this Government and added that BJP and PDP have committed the worst kind of political cheating with their electorates in their respective constituencies. They promised sky and exploited the sentiment of the youth by raising their hopes but have forgotten after forming the Government. Akrosh Yatra will be taken out in Doda tomorrow.
