JAMMU, Oct 10: Youth Congress leader Zakir Hussain has been elected as Youth Congress president for district unit Doda.
The elections for the post were held on Sept 18, 2018 and the Cong-ress Election authorities cleared the results today. The results had been put on hold after some controversy erupted there. Today, the high command declared the result and Zakir was announced winner.
He had secured 338 votes against his nearest rival Vishal Bhagat from Doda who bagged 201 votes whereas, Owais Mansoor Ganai from Bhaderwah just 13 votes. Zakir hails from Chilli village in Bhalessa area of Bhaderwah Sub Division.
