Zeashta Devi Prabandak Committee’s plea to Govt

SRINAGAR, Sept 12: Zeashta Devi Prabandak Committee, Zeathyar, Raj Bhawan Marg, Srinagar, has requested the Central and State Governments, civil administration, defence personnel etc top come to the rescue of the stranded people, who had taken shelter at Zeathyar.
Zeathsta Devi Prabandak Committee had made all out efforts in arranging free langer, boarding and lodging to over 5000 stranded people from the first day of the flood disaster and the committee has been extending every possible support to them.
The committee handout issued here said today only a handful of dry Sattu along with few Namkeen packets were air-dropped in the premises which were not sufficient to feed them.
A humble appeal was made by the management committee of the shrine those associated with rescue operation to come to the rescue of stranded people and evacuate them from the spot immediately and till them sufficient food grains may kindly be provided to them for their sustenance.
