Zero tolerance towards terrorism is a national strategy: DG CRPF

JAMMU: Patting the jawans and officers of the force for successful Nagrota operation, Director General Central Reserve Police Force, Dr AP Maheshwai on Saturday said that zero tolerance towards terrorism is a national strategy.
“I have come to congratulate our jawans and officers for the role they played on Friday in combat operation at Nagrota in which they neutralised three terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad,” Dr Maheshwari told reporters at a press conference here.
He said, “I want to assure the people of the country that we are committed to secure them in all aspects and capable to safeguard the nation.”
While lauding other agencies as well for maintaining synergy with CRPF which resulted into the successful operation, the DG said, “zero tolerance to terrorism is a national strategy and we are committed for that.”
“Those who were caught alive can be interrogated by different agencies and the investigation further can help us to reach to the roots,” he added and said that there will be no laxity on part of the security forces. He said that investigations into the matter are in progress. (AGENCIES)
