JAMMU, Oct 10: ZNS NIST Shiksha Academy, Gandhi Nagar (Jammu) organized a fashion show titled ‘Fashion Fusion 2022’ today.
The show was inaugurated by former Minister of State Priya Sethi, who was the chief guest on the occasion. Eminent journalist Sohail Kazmi, Sunaina Mehta and Pardeep Dutta were guests of honour and Shwetima Jamwal & Pallavi Sareen were celebrity guests whereas Ashish Kohli, Kusum Ticko and Netika Aggarwal were special guests.
The event witnessed different fashion styles and segments of designing. Stage theme was fully white to enhance beauty of the garments on the ramp. The show was comprised of four rounds. The students of the Academy focused on innovation and creativity while designing their garments for Fashion Fusion.
In the first round of the Fashion Fusion, modern outfits were showed. The students had used silver shine to give sparkle in the dark shaded clothes. In the second round, hand dyed veils over the shoulders were showed to represent Indian culture. The outfits had also cuts and silhouettes, giving western look.
Third round showed the bridal theme inspired by the Mughal era during with models showcasing silhouettes like Anarkali, Gharana, Lengha, etc using off white to enhance the purity of brides and highlight the silver and golden shades. Fourth round was fully formal round that was showcased by Jammu’s top influencers like Sars Bharti, Sonali Dogra, Amar Chouhan, Monica Gupta, Kritika Khanna, Divya Jamwal, Medhavi Sharma, RJ Chaitnaya and Juhi Singh on ramp.
More than 150 students participated in the fashion show. Around 40 professional models also showcased outfits by gracefully walking on the ramp. The show belonged to fashion designers and makeup artists of the Academy.
Speaking on the occasion, Priya Sethi said this kind of events give wings to the youth of J&K in designing and makeup industry while Sohail Kazmi emphasized that ZNS NIST Academy is doing great job by training youth in Fashion and Makeup.
