UDHAMPUR, Apr 16: Zonal Level Inter School Tournament organized for under-14 and 17 boys by Department of Youth Services and Sports concluded at Mini Stadium here today.
Around 47 boys drawn from different private and Government institutions of Zone Udhampur participated in the tournament.
In under-14 yoga competition, Kulwinder of Government City High School Boys, Udhampur clinched 1st position while Sanjeet bagged second, whereas in under-17 category, Lachpat Raj of Government City School Boys, Udhampur secured 1st position.
In under-14 badminton competition, Harnit Singh of Sharun Public School defeated Saksham Sharma of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School by 2-0 score.
Earlier, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Udhampur Santosh Kumari declared the tournament open.
The matches were officiated by Raj Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Rohit, Ranjeet Singh, Sham Lal Gupta, Meenu, Kamaljeet, Rakesh, Ved Parkesh, Raman and Ashutosh.
