JAMMU, Oct 6: Chairman, Team Jammu and BJP leader, Zorawar Singh Jamwal today released Dogri song “Suna Dogri” produced by Amit Kundal Music and Film Industry Jammu.
A function in this regard was held at Press Club Jammu, wherein social activist Dr Urja Singh was the guest of honour
The song has been sung by son of the soil Amit Kundal who has so far given ten popular hits in Dogri language, which are mostly focussed on youth so that they may develop interest in listening and speaking Dogri in today’s modern era.
Young and passionate music director Wazir X Music gave the music of the song. The lyrics of the song ‘Suna Dogri’ have been written by Sanjay and directed by renowned filmmaker Aaditya Bhanu, who has already produced lot of songs and films to the Film Industry of Jammu.
The Cinematography and Post Production was done by Vikran Mehta under the banner of Trinetra Productions. Makeup was done by Sakshi.
Parveen Sharma, a budding female actress, has done the lead role in the song accompanied by Mahi Dogra, MJ Sunny and Prayas Karloopia.
While speaking on the occasion, Team Jammu chief, Zorawar Singh Jamwal congratulated Amit Kundal and his entire teammates for such initiatives that promote local art and culture besides generating employment opportunities and also engage youth in productive works. He lauded the efforts of musicians, singers and artists for promoting and glorifying the diverse culture of J&K by producing songs in Dogri language and hoped that these songs cross borders to reach their admirers. He also said that such initiatives help the younger generation to remain connected with their roots.
Maintaining that mind of the creative genius is a strange and wonderful things, Zorawar Singh Jamwal also said that the youth who are engaged in such activities should be encouraged both by the Government and social organisations. The participation of youth in cultural activities will not only keep youth away from indulging in social crimes but will also keep them in good health and sound mind, he added.
