JAMMU, Oct 23: The Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu, organized a debate competition for officers from different districts and ranges of the Jammu Zone.
The topic of discussion was “Human Rights Violations Cannot Control Crimes by Organized Criminal Syndicates.”
The event, chaired by Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range, under the command of ADGP Jammu, Anand Jain, was held at the Conference Hall of DPL Jammu.
A statement said that PSI Abhinav R Salgotra and PSI Sharaz Ahmed secured the first and second positions, respectively, for speaking in favor of the motion and woman constable Asma Choudhary from the 1st Women Battalion won first place, and PSI Yasir Arafat came second for speaking against the motion.
The jury members included Anwar-ul-Haq, SP PCR Jammu; Irshad Hussain, SP Headquarters Jammu; Pooja Nijhon, Senior PO DPO Jammu and Hemanshu Mahajan, Senior PO ZPHQ Jammu.
The program concluded with DIG JSK Range Shiv Kumar Sharma and SSP Jammu Joginder Singh appreciating the participants and congratulating the winners.
