SRINAGAR, June 12: To provide financial assistance and to ensure welfare of ex-servicemen, Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Srinagar, Colonel (Retd) Shuja Ahmad Qureshi convened a meeting of ex-servicemen here today.
The ex-servicemen and widows of those servicemen who served for the nation were acquainted with the schemes being launched by the Centre and State Governments. They were also made aware about the initiatives being taken by Directorate of Sainik Welfare for their socio-economic development.
On the occasion, Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Srinagar distributed the financial assistance among the beneficiaries being released by Directorate of Sainik Welfare.
