JAMMU, July 10: Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO), Jammu retd Colonel JDS Kotwal along with staff visited Surinsar and listened to the grievances of the ex-servicemen and widows.
Kotwal spoke on various welfare schemes being extended by the State and the Central Governments.
He advised the ex-servicemen, who have not endorsed the names of their wives for family pension to complete their formalities for the joint notification of family pension at the earliest.
All routine documentation work like issues/renewal of identity cards, CSD cards and completion of application for the financial assistance were also done on the spot.
