JAMMU, Apr 29: Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO), Sainik Welfare Department (SWD), J&K, Retd Colonel JDS Kotwal held a meeting with ex-servicemen, war widows and their next of kin and listened to their problems.
While speaking, Colonel Kotwal apprised the gathering about the revised schemes and welfare measures being extended by the Central and State Governments.
He also spoke about latest policy and recruitment letters received from Army headquarters and other agencies.
On the occasion, financial assistance was distributed to the eligible ex-servicemen and war widows.
The other general enquiries of the ESM and widows were clarified on the spot and all relevant documentations were also done.
