JAMMU, July 23: Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO) Retd Colonel JDS Kotwal visited Akhnoor and listened to the problems being faced by ex-servicemen, war widows and their dependents.
While speaking, Kotwal spoke regarding the revised schemes and welfare measures being extended by the Central and the State Government. He also informed about the latest policy/recruitment letters received by the Army headquarter and other agencies.
On the occasion, a sum of Rs 9,200 on account of demise grant, penury and OTI were distributed among the ESM and widows.
