Zulfkar dedicates HS Karhad building to public

Rajouri, Mar 8: Terming women education as his priority sector, former Minister and Member Legislative Assembly Darhal Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali today inaugurated Government High School building at Karhad village fulfilling long pending demand of the people.
The school buidling has been constructed with amount of Rs 40 lakh. High School Karhad had no building and during the elections, Zulfkar had promised to construct this school on priority and the demand was today fulfilled when this building was handed over to the Education Department.
Stressing upon the need of women education, Zulfkar said a society can move forward only when women of the society are educated. He said that women affect whole family so educated women can pave way for developed society. He stressed upon the people to enroll their girls in schools and ensure their proper education for better future of the society.
Listing the developments in his tenure as Minister, Zulfkar said that he has brought Rs 400 crore for Darhal Budhal constituency in just 10 months. He said that the consistency is top most in J&K where such a huge funds have been sanctioned for developmental works.
Terming Anas irrigation canal and opening of Medcal College a prestigious projects, Zulfkar Ali said that Government released funds amounting to Rs 71 crore for Anas Irrigation project which was long pending demand of the people of this area. He said that this project was dream project of his father Late Chowdhary Mohammad Hussain which was realized by Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed by releasing funds for its completion. He added that opening of Medical College in Darhal Constituency is also a historic decision. He added that 123 Kanal of land for the Medical College has been earmarked at Nehra and a Girls Tribal Hostel for district Rajouri will also be constructed in the same area.
Former Minister said that Kotranka Khawas road was in dilapidated condition since many decades and people were suffering a lot and now he has got Rs 76 crore released for it whereas he has also brought Rs 15 crore for Samote Kewal Road, Rs 76 crore for Mirasi Morh -Baglaykote -Kotranka road which will be alternate link to connect the area. He added that Rs 2.29 crore for Rajouri -Darhal road and Rs 1.7 crore for Kangar Gali to Panihad road were also released in these 10 months.
