Zulfkar terms ethnic conflict as biggest roadblock of development

RAJOURI, Sept 29: Terming wedge between different communities as biggest road block in the development, Minister for Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution Department & Tribal Affairs Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali today called upon all communities to demolish the wall of hatred and play their role in the nation building.
Addressing book release function at Saaj Rajouri in which books of Mohammad Bashir Shaad and Shokat Behrotvi were released by the Minister in presence of galaxy of intellectuals, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali said that there is need to create regional identity of Pir Panjal and people must shun politics of communities in order to engage themselves in the developmental issues. He said that for development of the area all people must come under one platform and they should shun community politics for overall development. “Time has come to bridge the gap and intellectuals must play their role in it”, Minister said.
Terming Regional Integration as important as National Integration, Minister called upon Jammu based leadership to show their sympathy with all the regions of the division. He said that Jammu province is having 10 districts and all the districts must be treated equally by all the political leaders of the region. He said that equal justice is the need of the hour and political leaders of the province must treat all the areas equally.
“If we are getting IIM or IIT on the name of province, justice demand that such institutions should be opened in districts like Rajouri and Poonch as these districts have get less share in the past”, he said adding that federal integration is very important for the national integration.
Expressing seriousness on the plight of Urdu language, Zulfkar said that Urdu has played vital role in the Independence of India and this language need to be promoted for national integration also. He said that this is the language which can unite all and it has already played this role in past.
Minister pressed upon teachers to show responsibility towards their job so that better students can be created. He said that very few teachers are damaging whole education department and these teachers must create sense of responsibility in them.
